Testimonials

"Kathy Corliss and her team from Caring Transitions were an answer to prayer for my parents. This summer, my 82-year-old mother had six stents and a heart valve replacement. My dad was suffering from back pain and was a patient in the pain clinic in Yakima. It became apparent that they could no longer perform the daily tasks required to live on their own in their own home. We researched and visited senior homes and, as a family, made the decision to sell their home and move to a location where help was readily available.

The task of packing, loading a truck and moving them was just overwhelming. A friend of ours told us about Caring Transitions and we made contact. Kathy and her team packed everything my parents wanted to take their new residence. Her team was very careful in how they handled Mom’s precious keepsakes and packed everything with care. The whole team made the two days of packing fun. Kathy then advertised and held an estate sale for the remaining furnishings. Not everything sold, so she contacted the charity of our choosing and the house was then emptied and ready for sale.

Without Kathy and her team, we would not have been able to make this move so effortlessly for my parents. I highly recommend Caring Transitions if you have family members needing to make a move to new care options."

"We appreciated all the work you did after the estate sale: cleaning up the house, finding appropriate places to donate unsold items, and overseeing disposal of things that could not be donated."
